Background & Impressum
The origin of this website goes back to 1997. Eugène Ionesco had died three years earlier and was not very present in the media anymore. The internet was still in its infancy- compared to its significance today. The website ionesco.de back then and also today was intended to keep up the memory of the playwright and individual Eugène Ionesco, of his thoughts and words.
At the beginning of 2009 the website ionesco.de has been technically changed entirely. The new platform gives more functional options for the future also with regard to interactive possibilities. Until its final completion there may still be some time to go, but it will come. If you are missing anything particular on this page, please do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail right away
